Fashion Mogul is Jetting into Texas for the Maddest Runway Show Ever
Hats Off to a Triple Threat
By Josie Washburn //
Designer, editor, and stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe is bringing her sartorial talents to Texas on Thursday, April 27, to celebrate the 29th year of the Dallas Arboretum’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, themed Under the Tuscan Sun.
A fan of outrageous glamour, Zoe is the perfect celeb guest to headline the over-the-top affair. As if being a triple threat isn’t already enough, the fashion mogul is also an author. She wrote the New York Times bestselling style guide Style A to Zoe and recently penned her second, Living in Style.
Chaired by Linda Spina, Sharla Bush, and Melissa A. Lewis, the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party begins with a reception at the arboretum’s Ginsburg Plaza and a choreographed fashion presentation featuring selections from Zoe’s ready-to-wear spring collections sponsored by Tootsies and produced by the legendary Jan Strimple. A seated luncheon will follow, where the women with the maddest hats will be selected to strut the runway. Still wanting more? Lucky for us, all of the fashions featured during the runway will be carried at Tootsies so you can still achieve your own runway look.
