What: Book signing for Jay Baker‘s Making Things
Where: The River Oaks home of Susie and Sanford Criner
PC Moment: In one of the very homes that he designed, architect Jay Baker put his John Hancock on his 258-page tome for friends, clients and fans. The Criner home is one of 19 projects included in the book.
A mix of architecture, design and business professionals turned out for a first look at the book documenting Baker’s favorite projects from the past 20 years. It was no coincidence that the cocktail gathering was held in the Criner home, as Baker’s design received the Texas Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art‘s John Staub Award.
