A Reality TV Star, a Celebrity Dog and a Local TV Host Join Forces in Houston to Help Animals in Need

PC Moment: More than 360 animal lovers joined chairmen and twin sisters Tena Lundquist Faust and Tama Lundquist for a fierce and fabulous charitable evening of cocktails, dinner, and luxury auction items. Houston PetSet is a non-profit organization providing grants to Houston area charities that benefit animal welfare, and is committed to spaying, neutering, rescuing, adopting, and transporting the homeless pet population.
The philanthropic duo honored Don Sanders and introduced celebrity canine guest Charlie, a rescue dog brought back to good health through the services of Houston PetSet. In addition, Prince Lorenzo Borghese of ABC’s The Bachelor fame graciously posed for photo ops with attendees.
Philanthropist Jan Duncan was recognized for her generous donation through Houston PetSet that allowed Emancipet to open its first veterinary clinic in Houston’s East End.
More than $300,000 was raised, and proceeds will go to Houston non-profits working to get animals off the streets, back to good health, and placed in forever homes. To learn more about Houston PetSet, visit houstonpetset.org.
