PC Moment: Old enough to drink, The Social Book, Houston’s comprehensive calendar of fundraising opportunities, launched its newest volume for the year and celebrated its 21st birthday at the same time. Themed “A Knight in Camelot,” 800 guests traveled back centuries to the Renaissance on a “mystical journey to medieval Britannia and Europa.” B&B Butchers & Restaurant, Black & White Mediterranean Bistro, Benjy’s and Local Foods, Tila’s, Corner Table and Songkran Thai Kitchen delivered delicious bites.
On hand to sip were Barefoot wines and bubbly, Maker’s Mark, and Stella Artois. Puppet Pizzazz delivered life-size entertainment on a string and Richard Brown Music serenaded knights and ladies.
