PC Moment: Ahead of the Girls Innovate: Young Women’s Preparatory Network STEM Challenge, Microsoft at NorthPark Center hosted a festive party to thank sponsors for their support: NorthPark Center, PaperCity, NEC, Highland Capital Management, Westwood and more.
Young Women’s Preparatory Network CEO Lynn McBee met and mingled with many high school girls who are Young Women’s Preparatory Network students, along with other families and friends of the YWPN. The STEM Challenge features projects that they’ve been working on all semester and the big showcase event will take place next Saturday, November 2, 2019 at NorthPark Center.
STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) is the main focus of the YWPN, which has a network of schools including Irma Rangel in Dallas, Fort Worth’s Young Women’s Leadership Academy and Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy in Houston.
