This weekend, you have the chance to get a rare look inside the most historic and beautiful Tudor homes in East Dallas.
The Hollywood Santa Monica Neighborhood Association’s Hollywood Home Tour, taking place this Thursday, April 25 through Sunday, April 28, features five historic and unique homes. These few homes have been chosen from the 750 homes that make up the Hollywood Heights and Santa Monica neighborhood.
This unique Dallas neighborhood is believed to be one of the largest collections of stone-embellished Tudor revival cottages in the country. And this is the 28th annual tour showcasing them.
The weekend kicks off on Thursday, April 25 with a casino night at The Filter Building. On Friday evening, the neighborhood will offer a sneak peak of the homes with a Candlelight Tour from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. There will also be a Wine Walk.
The main tour will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. What makes these homes special is that they’re protected by one of the few Conservation Districts in Dallas. On Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm, Lindley Park will host Kids Spring Fest, which is a family focused event with local food and dessert trucks, kids activities and entertainment.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit local community schools. Purchase tickets at hsmna.org.
